Unnecessary Questions

You can create a question by stringing some words together, but just because a question can be asked it doesn't mean it needs to be answered.

In fact, some unnecessary questions border on over-introspection/narcissism. Today, let's go through some unnecessary questions.

"Am I over-engineering this?"

Knowing when you're over-engineering versus just engineering can be hard to answer in certain cases.

GCAS system in action; declassified footage. "is this system well-designed?"

Who knows, maybe the GCAS submodule code has some old fortran dependency, maybe it is ugly code, maybe it's over-engineered, who knows.

Did the pilot make it home? That's a better question.

We don't make unnecessary questions disappear; rather, they evaporate when we pay attention to what matters more.

What's the best way to go about disarming one of these things?

The way you don't die, sir.
